Position :: Co-Team Lead, TSU (1)

Main Tasks:

The Co- Team Lead shall be working under close supervision of Director, NITCON, and UN agency supporting the programme. The overall objective of the assignment is to support as Co-lead for the project for the achievement of desired outcomes.

Key tasks:

• Support in the planning, analysis, design, development, and implementation of Training/capacity building programmes in the water domain to help the stakeholders/participants to acquire needed knowledge, skills & attitude.
• Lead, formulate, and engage in dialogue with the governments and stakeholders concerning water supply to design/organise regional/National level training/seminar/workshop.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
• Develop guidance note, SOPs, various tools on urban-rural convergence on PWM and FSM
• Work in close coordination with district officials, Rural and Urban Local bodies (ULBs, PRIs) and the State government (H&UDD and PR&DW departments)
• Represent project on urban-rural convergence at various meetings and workshops at the State level
• Liaison with various stakeholders in the State to facilitate urban-rural convergence work on FSM and PWM
• Any other responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

PG/ Master’s degree in Sanitation Engg. or B.Tech in Civil Engg or Environmental Science or Social Science

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Project Execution/Consultancy in Sanitation Projects.
• Experience as Trainer/Subject Matter Resource in Sanitation domain will be an added advantage
• Fair understanding of Central/Sate Govt Schemes, Policy & Programmes of ULBs, & training needs of several stakeholders
• Experience in TNA, design, delivery of training & capacity building programmes /initiatives.
• Engagement & Networking with ULBs & stakeholders to map their training needs & design/deliver need- based programme.

Language and competency:
Fluency in oral and written communication in English, Hindi and Odia.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency in computer skills like use of MS Office and conversant internet/emails.
