As an experienced Systems Administration Specialist who is part of a 24x7 technical support team in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) organization, you will install, configure, administer, and support business-critical IT and communications infrastructure (hardware and software), systems, and applications.

Based at the MFO South Camp in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, you will solve technical infrastructure problems and help users at South Camp and remote sites throughout the Sinai.  Your area of specialty is systems administration, but you will be engaged in all aspects of infrastructure support.
You will support an extensive array of technology, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Server; Microsoft Windows; Office 365 suite; SharePoint; audio visual equipment; printers and peripherals; mobile and satellite communications equipment; security equipment (access devices and cameras); wireless access points, Cisco switches and routers, and UPSs; and a variety of business software and applications.
 
About You:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on IT operations and support experience, including familiarity with network operating systems; MS Office 365 suite; MS Windows OS; SharePoint; radio, audio, and TV equipment; local and wide area network switches and wireless access points; PCs and peripherals.
  • University graduate with a technical degree (IT/Computer Science/Communications/Electronics).
  • Technical certifications, including at a minimum, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Windows Server.
  • Flexible and agile self-starter who likes solving problems and is able to work independently on technical issues with minimal direction.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professional with well-developed communication skills, including a high level of English fluency (spoken and written).
