Senior Assistant - Catering

ICRISAT seeks a highly motivated and qualified professionals as Senior Assistant in Catering to ensure to see that high quality service is rendered at all operational areas. The ideal candidate should be have the right experience and ensure that all operations run smoothly.  The position will report to Manager -  Catering Services.  The position is based in the Headquarters in Patancheru, Telangana.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Ensure to see that the high quality service is rendered at all operational areas . Maintain high standard of hygiene and service within the given resources

·Executes the daily service operations with available resources, infrastructure, and equipment’s by following safety guidelines

·Carrying out the daily food service operations with consistency by maintaining safety and hygiene standard

·Commitment towards the assigned job, having good knowledge in handling the food with most dedication to meet the required activities of the day

·Acknowledging the instructions from Senior Catering Officer and clarifying the day's activities, types food needs to be setup at different buffets and arrangements

·Briefing the day's activities to the Associates in detail to carry out the day's activities successfully at different service counters and cafeteria's

·Organize the activities, plan and prioritize the requirements, by maintaining the consistency and standard in providing the food requirements and service timely and promptly

·Ensure to see that the Associates completes the food service assignments timely as per the required schedule

·Ensure to see that the quality food is served at all service counters and cafeterias with required service skills. Maintain consistency in quality, hygiene and service

Requirements:

·With at least 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management       

·Experience in handling food and Services operations

·The candidate should possess good manners, Good communication skills, Well Mannered and Soft spoken

·Good speaking and listening skills and Should be able to handle difficult clients in a professional way

·Should be able to serve large groups

General:

This is a contractual role for a period of 36 months (3 years’).
