Business Developer Romania

H2air, French independent producer of renewable electricity, is looking for a business developer to drive its deployment in Romania.

External Missions

With the support of the international development team and H2air back office, you will be in charge of : 

• Acting as a local representative for H2air in Romania ;
• Maintaining the link and daily interactions with H2air’s local business partners and the projects stakeholders ;
• Managing on a daily basis the various phases of the permitting related to Romanian instruction, until the complete authorization of the renewable energy projects (Wind and solar PV)
• Ensuring in Romania the coordination and local lobbying necessary to the success of the projects;
• Participating in the development of new renewable energy projects by identifying new land and potential partnership opportunities;
• Participating in the elaboration of the country strategy and projects selection (including internal assessment of the projects and their presentation during kick-off)
• Maintaining a watch on the changes in the regulatory framework & the renewable energy market in Romania.

Internal Missions

• Ensuring a regular internal reporting to the management;
• Ensuring fluid communications with H2air teammates in Romania, in France and in the rest of the group.

SIDE MISSIONS

• Providing its technical skills to support various departments of H2air as may be necessary on a case by case basis.

You have a good knowledge of the challenges of developing renewable energy projects in Romania, and preferably an experience in project development.

As a market opener, you are autonomous, proactive and you enjoy deploying your creativity in your approach to business, to ensure the success of your projects. You are able to communicate with administrative authorities and key stakeholders at any level. Obviously, you have a strong interest in the renewable energy sector.

The position is based in Romania.

Fluency in Romanian and English. Some abilities in French language are appreciated.
