Objective of the Assignment

This position is responsible for leveraging volunteers to support services and needs of newly-arrived and low-income refugees and vulnerable families. Providing specific training to volunteers is crucial to manage time effectively, receiving consistent services and meet compliance. This position will build the capacity of the IRC to provide necessary services, supports and education opportunities to clients in a timely fashion. In addition to train volunteers, this position will be responsible for creating, building and maintaining relationships with volunteers, and assisting them to keep tracking volunteer hours. The VISTA helps the IRC to keep consistent resources available to IRC's clients.
