Under the supervision of the Head of TRU, Head of Sector will: Fulfill functions of Head of Sector in the area of E-Learning and manage a day-to-day organisation of the E-Learning team; Manage the lifecycle of planning, development, implementation, evaluation and reporting of CEPOL’s training and learning activities in the E-Learning domain, including licence management; Manage together with the ICT the functionality and developments of CEPOL's Learning Management System; Provide advice on matters related to the E-Learning and on the development of the CEPOL training portfolio; Support the Head of Unit by contributing to annual / multi-annual programming and planning by drafting the relevant documents; Contribute to the development and implementation of training and learning strategies, translating them into organisation policies, including innovative learning solutions; Report on implementation of CEPOL training and learning activities; Acting as per Executive Director’s Decision on Financial workflow; Contribute to the Training Needs Analyses and Assessments; Produce strategic reports, policy documents as and when required; Participate in meetings, expert groups and workshops and represent CEPOL; promote E-Learning services internally and externally; Support the agency in policy, planning and strategic matters in E-Learning; Other activities as requested by the Line Manager. The post requires a very good command of English, both written and oral, good organisational and presentation skills, as well as knowledge of EU internal security environment, and the E-Learning technologies and innovative solutions.
