The Good Food Institute Europe (GFI Europe) is looking for a Head of Operations to be the driving force behind our day-to-day operations and support functions. If you have a passion for problem-solving and running smooth processes that support an amazing team, we’d love to hear from you!

GFI is at the forefront of the movement to advance plant-based and cultivated (grown from cells) meat in order to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger, to antibiotic resistance and animal suffering. 

Reporting to our Managing Director, you will be responsible for GFI Europe's people operations, financial management, legal and compliance, risk management, internal processes and policies, etc. 

• Full-time (flexible hours), permanent. 

• Home-based/remote from anywhere in Europe.

• Salary will depend on the country of hire. As an example, the gross monthly salary range in Belgium: €5,172.41 - €6,034.48.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• experience in operations, administration, HR, DEI, finance or another relevant field,

• a high degree of organisation and efficiency, and a passion for devising and managing effective systems, fixing problems, and ensuring accurate, high-quality administration.

• comfort with working under pressure in complex, often ambiguous and sometimes unglamorous workflows.
