Responsibilities
The intern will support the GIZ DISCOM team in the management of the training programs conducted under the project activity. The training programs will be conducted in selected cities within India.
 
Core scope of tasks:
  • Assist in logistical arrangements and organization of the training programs.
  • Assist in preparing and updating the database of training delegates and collating the training material.
  • Assist in designing and preparation of the training kits.
  • Assist in on-site coordination and communication with trainers, venue host and delegates in the training programs.
  • Assist in marketing the event on GIZ’s social media platforms.
  • Assist in the registration of the delegates for the training programs.
  • Data-management of the participants list and training material.
  • Participation in the regular discussions and meetings with the GIZ team, making the minutes of the meetings
  • Send communication emails with involved stakeholders such as training venue host(s), participants, logistic and other service provider.

Applicants who fulfil the following requirements are invited to apply.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communication or relevant degree
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft office tools and data handling.
  • Social Media acquaintance
  • Willing to travel with the GIZ team to the training locations/venues.
 
Duration of the internship period: 6 Months
