Role objectives
  • Develop and implement an Information, Counselling and Referral Services (ICRS) for the NDRP program.

  • In collaboration with NRC prepare a SOP for ICRS.

  • Conduct training for case workers to provide the services to XCs and capture data for the DREAM Management Information System.

  • Ensure that accurate and timely information is provided to XCs/participants on available services and support.

  • Provide counselling and support to program participants to help them make informed decisions about their reintegration process.

  • Develop and maintain a referral network with relevant service providers to ensure program participants have access to the support they need.

  • Manage the collection, analysis and reporting of data relating to the services provided by the ICR system.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the ICRS and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Collaborate with other members of the DDR team to ensure the ICRS is integrated into the overall program.

  • Ensure that all client information is treated with confidentiality and sensitivity.

Project reporting
  • Manage the collection, analysis and reporting of data relating to the services provided by the ICR system.

Key competencies
  • Experience in developing and implementing information, counselling and referral systems.

  • Desirable - knowledge of disarmament, demobilization and reintegration processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong data analysis and report writing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Team management
  • This role has no team management responsibility.
