The department of Individual Giving is headed by Individual Giving Officer, who manage three areas: Acquisition, Donor Development and Database, with the main objective of raising funds from individuals for the refugee cause, using marketing and communications strategy.
We are looking for a pro active person, with a genuine desire to learn and develop yourself to support in the fundraising operation in PSP Brazil.
Under the supervision of the Donor Development Coordinator, the candidate selected will support Individual Giving team.
The candidates must be just graduated or graduating in Marketing, Communication, Enterprises administration or corelated areas, after the fifth semester. It is necessary good abilities in communication (speak and written). Abilities in Microsoft Excel, as knowledge in Portuguese and English.
Under the supervision of the Donor Development Associate, the intern will:
1. Write and create briefings for several materials, as email marketing, direct mail, special appeals, internally and for agencies (vendors and partners)
2. Create engaging emails, email marketing and texts to social media, with the goal to fund extra donations from donors and potential donors.
3. Support on the donors’s journeys with engage texts to retain and keep the donors activate in the database.
4. Set up the email marketing diagram, digital newsletter and journeys in the email marketing software
5. Monitor actions and materials produced by the communication team to identify opportunities and adapt to Individual Giving’s campaigns.
6. Search contents inside the UNHCR media and content platforms to produce confinable and engaging materials.
7. Make benchmarks regularly with other fundraising organizations: sign newsletters, follow in the social media,…
8. Solicitate quotes about gifts and extra materials to use in the direct email program to rise the retention and conversion of donors.
9. Keep and maintain the area’s documents, procedures, and protocols up to date.
10. Support the team in verification on the process of delivery materials by vendors
11. Support the team to follow the program and the donor’s journeys.
12. Support in presentations and meetings with vendors and internal team (content, researches, procedures, donor’s journey, monthly results,… ).
13. Support in operational process with the channels to attend the donors.
14. Support on the donation processing, program to attend the donor.
15. Support the Individual Giving team in other activities, when necessary.
Required level, qualifications and work experience:
Recently graduated or graduating in: Publicity, Marketing, Social Communication or related.
Experience with content marketing and digital marketing environment
Experience with design and photoshop is an advantage
Experience with CRM Salesforce and/or Selligent is an advantage
Good communication and organization ability
Good abilities with spreadsheets.
Native in Portuguese and intermediate knowledge in English (read and write)
