Mission and objectives

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the directing and coordinating authority for public health within the United Nations system. The WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean is one of WHO’s 6 regional offices around the world. It serves the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region, which comprises 21 Member States and occupied Palestinian territory (including East Jerusalem), with a population of nearly 679 million people.

Context

This flyer will be to announce an upcoming regional webinar for WHO country offices in the Eastern meditation region. The webinar will be held in May 2023 and accordingly the flyer needs to be finalized ASAP. Following the webinar, the sources that will be used by the country offices will need to be compiled in a local intranet page which the graphic designer will help in creating.

Task description

We are looking for one Online Volunteer who, under the guidance of WHO communication team, will support us in producing: 1- An announcement flyer for upcoming webinar (1 flyer) 2- The design of contents for a local intranet page The design/layout should follow WHO's corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance. The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the WHO communication team and will receive a certificate of appreciation at the end of the task.
