About the Position
Dexis seeks a qualified Knowledge Management Lead to support USAID’s Center for the Environment, Energy, and Infrastructure (EEI/NE) upcoming Improving Design, Evidence, and Learning (IDEAL) contract. The five-year project seeks to support missions in program cycle activities, including design and monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, and advance the uptake and use of adaptive management and evidence-based programming in environment and integrated programs (using biodiversity, sustainable landscapes, or other funding). This contract is the primary vehicle through which EEI/NE will provide program cycle support to USAID’s field Missions via buy-ins.
The Knowledge Management (KM) Lead will be responsible for leading and managing IDEAL’s objective to strengthen EEI/NE’s internal and external networks of conservation and climate actors, knowledge management, and learning. They will support Program Cycle knowledge management, disseminate and apply tools and guidance developed by EEI/NE, and develop and share new tools to facilitate the use of adaptive management practices in climate change, biodiversity, and integrated programming. They will ensure knowledge is iteratively captured, shared, and applied, support feedback loops between field support activities and learning, and promote a culture of adaptive management and evidence-based practices. Working closely with the Chief of Party (COP), the KM Lead will identify pathways of supporting knowledge sharing, communication, and networking across the program and Agency. This position is full-time. The preferred location for this position is in the Washington, DC area. The position is contingent upon award and for the duration of five years with a possible extension.

- Research, select, and implement innovative approaches for sharing tools, resources, and overall program experiences with stakeholders working in climate change, biodiversity, and integrated programming.
- Leverage and strengthen existing stakeholder relationships within the Agency that are key to the adoption of adaptive management and evidence-based programming.
Qualifications
