The Australia-Pacific Partnership Platform (The Partnerships Platform) is looking for motivated and skilled professionals who are keen to make a difference. We seek passionate staff who work collaboratively to deliver the ideas and advice that will help the countries in which we work meet governance and stability challenges. The Partnership Platform is seeking an experienced and motivated Recruitment Officer with a proven track record in coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process within an international development context. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, respectful, flexible internal recruiter with a keen focus on service delivery and candidate experience.  

 

The areas of focus of the assignment are: 

  • Administering the full recruitment and selection cycle including: supporting Country Teams with the development of fit-for-purpose Terms of Reference, leading end-to-end recruitment processes, and ensuring due diligence and compliance requirements are met.  
  • Providing support to Country Teams to ensure adherence to recruitment policies and procedures while remaining flexible and adaptive. 
  • Administering recruitment systems, policies, procedures, tools and templates to ensure streamlined, effective, and high-quality services are delivered with regular recruitment metrics, reporting on progress on a monthly and six-monthly basis, and document management. 
  • Administering the LinkedIn Talent Solution platform, including; reporting and talent pipeline maintenance. 
  • Demonstrate a consistent commitment to diversity and inclusion in all recruitment activities.
  • Ensure the Partnerships Platform maintains a high standard of candidate experience throughout the recruitment and selection cycle. 

The position is offered as a full-time, fixed term maternity leave contract from September 2023 to April 2024.  It is a fully remote, work from home position, and flexibility of hours will be considered.

About the Australia-Pacific Partnerships Platform 

The Australia-Pacific Partnerships Platform program is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and managed by DT Global. It provides Pacific Island Countries with a suite of flexible, fit-for-purpose options that support broad governance and stability development outcomes.  Services provided by the Partnerships Platform can include recruitment, procurement, grants, monitoring and evaluation, research and training, advisory support, and program design and management. Our partners identify the areas in which this support is required, and these can include climate change, strengthening public financial management systems, infrastructure, governance, economic growth and social inclusion. 

 

About You 

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, respect, resilience and adaptability, and a preparedness to work with limited resources in a challenging environment, this includes the ability to successfully build and manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. 

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in managing multiple concurrent recruitments in an international development context. You possess high level written communication skills are responsive to changing program needs.  Experience recruiting across the Pacific will be highly valued, as will previous experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions and Taleo platforms. 

You will be required to demonstrate a strong understanding of, and commitment to Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), child protection and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH), anti-corruption and other DFAT safeguarding policies.
