We are looking for a candidate who wants to kick-start their career in communications. Integral member of the communications team, the intern will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and work with communications professionals from different backgrounds. The person will contribute to the production of creative, informative and accurate content for our internal and external communications channels. Excellent written and spoken English, teamwork, energy as well as ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously will be key for a successful internship.

• Support content generation and publishing on Gavi’s digital communication channels such as website, social media, intranet and Marketing Cloud;
• Assist with development of communications materials, messaging, research and fact-checking;
• Support media monitoring activities, digital archiving and messaging inventory;
• Contribute to advocacy and progress tracking;
• Contribute to communication planning and monitoring of results;
• Support planning and execution of internal and external events.

• Proven interest in communications through student projects, work assignments, internships or volunteering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• Excellent writing skills in English;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Excel;
• Ability to take initiative and work independently;
• Some experience with digital communication platforms;
• Creative, flexible and collaborative mindset;
• Knowledge of global health, experience in an international organisation and previous writing assignments would be an asset.
• Excellent writing skills in English;
