Task description
We are looking for creative Online Volunteer(s) who will, in close collaboration with colleagues at the Terrorism Prevention Branch, support our communications outputs through the following actions: - Social media support – with a focus on developing content for Twitter, such as drafting tweets, creating graphics, engaging with followers, monitoring trends and analytics, etc. - Drafting of web stories – writing short articles on TPB's activities, achievements and impact for the UNODC website, using storytelling techniques and multimedia elements. The Online Volunteer is expected to produce around 3-5 tweets and 1-2 web stories per week, depending on the availability of news and events related to TPB’s work. The tweets should be concise and catchy, following the UNODC’s social media guidelines and best practices. The web stories should be around 500-800 words long, following the UNODC’s web writing guidelines and using multimedia elements such as photos, videos or infographics. The Online Volunteer will receive feedback and guidance from TPB’s colleagues on the content and quality of their outputs. For close coordination and discussion the Online Volunteer is expected to be available for at least daily calls via Microsoft Teams.
