In India, Jhpiego works  across various states in close collaboration  with  national  and  state  governments,  providing  technical  assistance  in  the  areas  of  family  planning,  maternal  and  child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non‐communicable diseases. These programs are funded by USAID, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, UNICEF, World Health Organization, University  of  Manitoba,  Bill  &  Melinda  Gates  Foundation,  Children’s  Investment  Fund  Foundation(CIFF), MSD for Mothers and others.

 Jhpiego is hiring for the position of User Research Officer  based at India  Country Office, New Delhi   under iWin. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting in various program   communications products and developing content and managing program social media accounts.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and design researchers
• Develop an understanding of the end-users through secondary and primary research. Generate user personas and user scenarios
• Develop interaction flows, UI mockups, and low-fidelity prototypes, with an understanding of the technical feasibility of the prototypes
• Prepare and present designs, wireframes, and prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Deliver design solutions to stakeholders, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Program officers, Engineers, & Program Managers and Researchers to overcome various challenges and prioritize user experiences
• Identify new research methods, tools, and techniques to use improve our processes and solutions.
• Responsible for delivering all aspects of design, from defining user needs to delivering concepts, prototypes and UI specifications

• Bachelors  degree or equivalent experience in Design Research Market, Market research, Psyschology  Post-graduation in any field.
• Minimum 2- 3 years of design research experience in managing all stages of research, Planning, data analysis and UI design.  
• Despreferably in the not-for-profit development sector in India.
• High proficiency in FIGMA Adobe suite, sketch,illustrator and designing softwares
• Experience in conducting user researcb and best utilization of industry design standards and practices to define.
