Mission and objectives

Hope Foundation is a German and Cameroonian non-profit and non-governmental organization. It was founded by a group of young, dynamic and committed individuals in 2001, with the primary goal of promoting community development and alleviating poverty in rural and impoverished areas of Cameroon. A number of awareness and cultural projects are also carried out within Germany. The Foundation is primarily involved in humanitarian activities aimed at improving the standards of living for underprivileged Cameroonians. Its aid projects span across various fields including education, health, water and sanitation, child care, human rights, environment, women’s empowerment as well as providing assistance to discriminated and disadvantaged community groups such as people with disabilities, street children and orphans. Hope Foundation is a registered charitable organization under Cameroonian law (Registration Number: No.373/G.37/D.14/1/VOL.T/T/BAPP) and under German law by the High Court Charlottenburg, Berlin (Registration Number: VR 29417 B).

Context

To support the Hope Foundation project, we want to work with online volunteers to design flyers, posters, banners, content for social media, and content for campaigns. The material to be designed will be used to promote and advertise our projects and activities both on and offline. Subjects around which our designs shall have emphasis on are health and malaria, education and schools, shoes and donations, volunteering, WASH, sustainable tourism, women empowerment and more. Online Volunteers should have experience already in designing which will facilitate understanding in the given tasks.

Task description

We are looking for 3 Online Volunteers who will support our organization in designing different pending and upcoming tasks regarding graphic design, which our organization needs: - Online volunteers shall design simple but good posters, flyers, web and print banners, social media content, logos, booklets, t-shirts and proposals Experience in using some design tools will be an advantage and will facilitate tasks understanding. Creative minds in design will be welcomed.
