Job title: Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
Department: Program Implementation
Reporting to: Program Manager
Location: Delhi
Duration of the project: 1 Year
Level Of Contact With Children: 2 â Sporadic or Occasional contact with Children
The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan Indiaâs Child Safeguarding & Gender Equality Policies.

Job Purpose:
Plan India runs three major programs funded by Reckitt India, namely, âThe School Hygiene Education Programâ, âThe Birds and The Bees Talkâ and âReach Each Childâ. Together the program covers 12 major states of India and reach 15 million individuals. Monitoring and evaluation manager will be responsible for creating and implementing the M & E matrix for all the three programs along with analysing data and making sure the reporting is accurate.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
⢠To assist in all technical components of program formulation and implementation especially for newer components.
⢠Assist in development of comprehensive plan for monitoring and evaluation in project states of Sub Recipients to ensure that an effective and participatory M & E system is established in a decentralised manner.
⢠Technical support for developing and testing instruments for supportive supervision to support monitoring.
⢠To develop formats, log frame matrix for monitoring and evaluation of program implementation for developing indicators for the program.
⢠To assist in the development of methodology for mid-term evaluation and to ensure they are undertaken.
⢠To evaluate results of reports and integrate these into planning.
⢠To assist in consolidation and analysis of reports/ data received from the Non Government PRs, Sub Recipients on quarterly/ monthly/ annual basis.
⢠Any other additional work assigned by Reporting Officer
Required Qualification and Skills:
⢠Post Graduate Degree or Diploma qualification in Preventive Social Medicine/ Community medicine/ Community Health Administration/ MPH/ Microbiology/ General Medicine/ Hospital Management/ MBA from a recognised institution
⢠Experience: Work experience in the Development sector, Health Programmes or Health systems for 1 year.
⢠Experience of providing technical support to and capacity building of organisations in compliance related matters.
⢠Experience of project proposal development and budget preparation.
⢠Technical expertise in the areas of overall programme management and planning
⢠Capability to function collaboratively and productively in a multi disciplinary environment.
⢠Very strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesise complex concepts and to communicate them effectively. Need to have understanding of Excel, Macros, MS Access and other statistical tools.
⢠Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
⢠Conversant with computer operations required for virtual meetings/ interactions.
⢠Ability and willingness to undertake extensive travel, primarily within India.
⢠Fluent in English and Hindi.
