Mission and objectives

Founded in 2010, Better Life Vietnam (BLV) is a non-profit organization that works to improve education conditions for underprivileged children and youth in Vietnam. In 2016, Better Life Vietnam was registered as a Social Enterprise, under the name, Cuong Thinh BLV Social Co., LTD. With the vision to help reduce the burden for the poor families of Vietnam, Better Life Vietnam has dedicated its efforts to encourage knowledge and support children in getting the education they deserve. The organization’s three main projects include Books Library, Scholarship, and English Class.

Context

As part of Better Life Vietnam (BLV)'s ongoing mission to improve education conditions for underprivileged children and youth in Vietnam, BLV organizes an Online English Class Program that provide students opportunities to learn and practice English with foreigners. To further promote our ongoing works to wider and broader audience in social media spaces, we are seeking to collaborate with Online Volunteers to help us in developing promotional video where the materials will be sourced by recording the online English class sessions and edit those recordings to also make videos for different learning purposes.

Task description

We are looking for three Online Volunteers who can help us creating and editing video clips from the footages and photos of our projects. The video clips created and edited will be used to promote our projects via various social media channels and YouTube. Each Online Volunteer is expected to create one video clip per week, where the materials will be sourced by recording the online English class sessions. The Online Volunteers will be properly credited and acknowledged for their contribution in the video production. At the end of the assignment, the Online Volunteers will also receive certificate issued by UNV.
