CINIâs Health Nutrition Programming
For nearly 50 decades now, CINI has been implementing community based health & nutrition programmes with the objective to prevent malnutrition and ill health among women, children and adolescents in four states of India. In implementing the programmes, CINI adopts a life cycle approach in working with the target groups in ensuring their health and well being through promoting community ownership and system strengthening. All the programmes are implemented in close coordination with the respective Government Departments right from the grassroots upto the State and National Levels. Efforts are being made to increase access to existing schemes and entitlements that would lead to better health and nutrition outcomes for the communities most in need.
In order to implement such community based health programmes in two states, the following positions are required on an urgent basis
Post: Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation officer
Number of Posts: 2
Stationed at: CINI Head Office in Pailan, CINI State Office in Ranchi with travel to other districts for monitoring and supervision
CTC : Rs. 50000/- PM
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree/ higher qualifications in Social Work/ Rural Development and Management/ Public Health/ Statistics/ Demography with specialized qualification of quantitative research.
Experience: 4-6 years of experience with public health research/large scale data handling working and in related field preferable (Maternal & Child Health).
Languages known: Good communication skills in English. (Bengali for West Bengal, Odiya for Bhubaneswar and Hindi for Ranch is a must)
General Criteria: Age limit 30 - 45 yrs. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Power point and preferably SPSS/other statistical packages/advanced excel/online data collection and analysis tools
The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Power point and proven skills in documentation
Job Responsibilities :
Activities to be performed:
1. Designing of project logframe including monitoring and reporting indicators of health based projects with support from project manager
2. Developing project monitoring and reporting tools at different levels to measure project progress
3. Monitoring the core and performance indicators of the project on regular basis and report back to Senior Management team
4. Ensure quality in data collection and analysis process for conducting baseline, end line or midterm reviews
5. Documentation of the project, including generating case studies, process documentation, and documenting good practices from the field
6. Document all types of reports and minutes related to field visit, training, workshop etc.
7. Undertake regular field visits to assess the systems and verify data as well as support field staffs in project implementation
8. Support and capacitate project staff on MIS & documentation and other technical components as required
9. Support in developing IEC/BCC materials based on the project need
10. Timely compilation, analysis and submission of MIS report
11. Write and compile content for public awareness products such as, brochures, newsletters, case studies etc
12. Respond to requests from donor, organization & Govt. for additional information/ data
13. Any other need-based work as specified by the organization
