Regional Centre for Development Cooperation (RCDC) is aleading civil society organizationwith demonstrated leadership in people-led natural resources management and climate justice over the past 3 decades. Itâs looking to recruit the Executive Director for the overall leadership of the organization and drive the organization towards its next level of growth and impact ambition.
Presently RCDC operates in 10 districts of Odisha through its programmatic interventions and advocates for pro-community policy and practice change at local, national and international levels by collaborating with governments and other civil society organisations. RCDC, with a body of highly motivated team and supported by various national and international donors, strives for making a difference in the lives of poor and marginalized communities.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead Strategic Direction:
⢠Develop organizational strategy with active engagement and contributions from the relevant stakeholders and implement it through a cycle of effectiveoperational plans, mobilization and efficient management of organisational resources.
Build High Performing Team:
⢠Facilitate an enabling organizational environment for staff and volunteers to perform to their optimum potential.
⢠Role model and foster integrity, collaboration and mutual accountability as core values amongst staff and volunteers
⢠Promote distributed leadership across the organization through effective line management of direct reports, delegation and mentoring.
Manage Programmesat scale:
⢠Ensure quality program design around RCDCâs strategic development priorities.
⢠Manage efficient operational infrastructure for RCDCâs work with the most vulnerable, marginalised, and hard-to-reach communities.
⢠Oversee that RCDCâs programs have an effective evidence and impact management plan.
MaintainFinance integrity:
⢠Lead planning, monitoring, and risk mitigation of organisational budgets through internal controls
⢠Ensure RCDCâs finance management system works for satisfactory statutory compliance of donor budgets and government laws.
External Positioning:
⢠Build, manage, and leverage donor partnerships for RCDCâs strategic development priorities.
⢠Facilitate strategic network and alliance building around RCDCâs programme and policy work.
⢠Represent RCDC with NGOs, INGOs and Government, UN agencies, and Donors on strategic priorities.
Position requirements
⢠Mastersâ degree in social science or a related field with a minimum 8 years of proven senior leadership experience in NGOs/INGOs.
⢠Experience in leading development and implementation of organisation level strategic and operational plans
⢠In-depth knowledge of and practice in sound organisational management
⢠Good skills and knowledge in management of complex organisational data including finance.
⢠Excellent analytical mindset and skills to tackle complex problems.
⢠Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
⢠Excellent writing skills English
⢠Computer and presentation skills in MS word, excel, PowerPoint, and internet
