As a member of the Operations Department, the Data Engineer will report to the Head of IT Unit, and will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architectures and processing that the EBA’s analytical and data dissemination products will use. As an expert in data processing, the Data Engineer provides technical expertise, designs, and implements data pipelines, integrations, staging, storing and quality processing, using data infrastructure both cloud and on-premises. The successful candidate will work in the Project/Product teams with internal and external contributors/stakeholders at various levels, always ensuring full compliance with the EBA’s policies and standards, contributing to, and implementing the EBA’s IT Architecture, Security and Technology Strategy and Standards.
