Mission and objectives

UN Human Rights in Moldova assists the UN Country Team in Moldova, the authorities, the judiciary, the parliament, national human rights institutions and civil society through technical advice and capacity building activities to protect, respect, fulfill and mainstream human rights in the country.

Context

OHCHR Moldova is seeking two online volunteers to support us in editing a guide on human rights terminology in English. The aim of this task is to improve the accuracy and quality of our document from English language perspective and to ultimately effectively communicate and advocate for human rights. Selected volunteer(s) will have a chance to learn more on the human rights terminology guide and its purpose within OHCHR while supporting the team at first hand. We expect the selected online volunteer(s) to start with this task immediately.

Task description

• Copyedit OHCHR Moldova terminology guide (40 pages) in English • Ensure translations are concise, in line with OHCHR communications guidelines, and fit the audience • Collaborate with the OHCHR Moldova Team to ensure reports are high-quality and effective • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the quality of the document
