Job Title: District Lead
Department: Program Implementation
Location: Rajsamand, Rajasthan
Level of Contact with Children: 2 (Sporadic or occasional contact with children)
The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan Indiaâs Child Protection & Gender Equality Policies.

From July 2015- June 2020, Plan India aims to reach two million children and youth through grassroots programs and five million children and youth through evidence-based advocacy initiatives.
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
Reach Each Child program has developed an innovative program addressing the needs of self-care and gaps in awareness, agency, and access for new mothers. The project aims to increase awareness about the importance of self-care and how to address health-related aspects around it along with creating a sustainable and enabling environment for it.
Key Outcomes-
⢠Reaching upto 2 million New moms across the life-cycle
⢠Addressing critical aspects of health that can be enhanced via self-care
⢠Driving behaviour change aimed at self-care
POSITION SUMMARY:
The District Lead will be responsible to ensure that project is implemented successfully under the Supervision of State Manager in the assigned project states.
SCOPE OF WORK:
⢠Ensuring development and delivery of project implementation, operational and work plans.
⢠Effective management and guidance of team members through performance matrix.
⢠Facilitate and coordinate with Government health department functionaries and other stakeholders for implementation of the project at state level.
⢠Work in coordination with Project Management Unit in Maharashtra and district teams.
⢠Deliver quality events and conferences in assigned state as per planned events.
⢠Preparing and implementing the programs as per DIPs, state plans and achieving of common central target.
⢠Effective communication of state level activity on daily basis with the leadership.
⢠Ensuring policy adherence and systematic approach on the work conducted by the team members.
⢠Assist the state teams in procurement in accordance with PLAN Indiaâs Procurement Committee.
⢠Working with state teams to gather required documents and approvals on timely basis.
⢠Ensuring submission of monthly, quarterly and Programme progress reports.
⢠Facilitate the process of Community-based activity for all the project component through active involvement with state government officials, NGOs youth clubs, schools, colleges, etc.
⢠Working on Monthly progress report of team members to be shared with PMU on Monthly basis.
⢠Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate the process of approvals, letters, directive related to the project.
⢠Any Other Task assigned by the line manager
Collaborates with: State Manager, Finance and Admin Coordinator, Block Managers, Community Nutrition Worker, Yoga Specialist, Wellness Expert
Travel: 50% travel time could be required to project areas.
Other functions: Any other specific task assigned by the Plan India Country Office to achieve the project objectives.
Deliverables:
⢠Fortnightly report in specified electronic format submitted to the Reporting Manager
⢠Monthly progress report will cover the activities performed, and the outcomes against planned activities and indicators, key accomplishments, problems identified and solutions worked/ proposed
⢠Preparation of relevant document of activities specific for effective intervention including all the information with coverage and snaps
