To expand our Eastern Mediterranean  team, we are looking for a 

Country Programme Officer



This position is fulltime and only filled in Jordan. With contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities

  • Implement specific programmes or projects, including budget, programme design, development, project monitoring and evaluation

  • Provide programmatic leadership in the development and implementation of the CBM project portfolio, aligned with the organizational strategy.  

  • Lead, guide and coordinate joint project and/or multi-year planning processes with partners, CBM Initiatives/technical teams and fundraising departments, ensuring the quality and sustainability of results in line with CBM and donor requirements.  

  • Put in place an effective Monitoring, evaluation and learning framework to regularly measure progress on implementing CBM projects,

  • Support the Programme Representative in maintaining strong partnerships and diversifying partnerships, alliances, and collaborations. 

These are your qualifications

  • Professional experience [AO1] in national or international NGOs, with a track record in successfully designing and managing large development programmes in collaboration with national partners.  
  • Experience in developing and managing large scale institutionally funded projects. Experience of managing complex consortium an advantage. 
  • Proven experience in results-based management and project cycle management,
  • Arabic and English proficiency on business level is compulsory
