In the occupied Palestinian territory, the first Field Unit was established in 1994. It is based in East Jerusalem and hosted by UNDP Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People. Since its inception, UNV in the occupied Palestinian territory has been instrumental in responding to the needs and encouraging the enhancement of the Palestinian society.
Context
UNV Palestine FU aims to secure funding for national university volunteers and enhance their living conditions. In pursuit of this goal, we intend to deliver a presentation to a prospective donor, highlighting the advantages that these volunteers can bring to the UN system. By doing so, we aim to promote volunteerism, enhance the well-being of national volunteers, and contribute to the realization of the 2030 Development Agenda. The potential donor would be the Bank of Palestine and implementing partner is UNESCO
Task description
UNV Palestine is seeking two Online Volunteers to assist us in creating a presentation aimed at promoting the involvement of National University Volunteers in UN work in Palestine. The volunteer will receive the content in advance and will be responsible for translating it into visually appealing slides to be presented to a donor in Palestine. It is important that the design and layout adhere to UNV design guidelines, which will be provided to the Online Volunteer beforehand.
