Our mission is to ‘help people live longer, healthier lives by conducting program and supporting other organizations’. Americares India is registered as a non-profit in India in 2006. It accomplishes its mission through the donation of essential medicines and supplies to charity hospitals and community medical programs, and by operating medical camps in slum and tribal areas.  Americares India currently operates in 27 states/UTs across India, and has already reached more than 10 million people through 170+ NGO partners.

Job Title: M&E Associate
Place: Mumbai
Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation / Program Manager
Summary
Americares India Foundation is a health-focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by urban poverty or disaster with life-changing health programs, medicine, and medical supplies. In the years of the organization’s existence, we work in the following:
 
I.Emergency Response: With our robust pre-positioning plan and strong Pan-India network of partners, we work through preparedness, response and recovery, and stay if needed, providing immediate relief to survivors and helping to restore health services for long-term impact. 
II.Access to Medicines: Our Access to Medicine program increases access to quality medicines and supplies, to improve health outcomes for patients and low-income communities, by filling the resource gap of partner NGOs, hospitals and organizations.
III.Clinical Services: Our clinical services outreach presently is made possible via our Mobile Medical Health Centres.

Mobile Health Centres –Six days a week, our fully equipped mobile health centres bring health care to impoverished families in 133 locations across 13 municipal wards of Mumbai.

Community Health: School health Program-Schools are a platform to influence the choices children make and encourage healthy behaviours.

Health and Wellness Centre project is providing technical assistance, equipment support, staff capacity building and community awareness and engagement.

Job Description of the Position
Main areas of responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting data using various platforms.
  • Designing dashboard for meaningful data analysis
  • Capturing data into digital databases and performing regular backups.
  • Preparing periodic reports & presentations, documentation of case studies and success stories as needed.
  • Updating and maintaining databases, archives, and filing systems.
  • Monitoring and reviewing databases and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
  • Generating and exporting data reports, spreadsheets.
  • Undertake Monthly reporting data of project activities in designated format.
  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders i.e. District Program Managers (DPMs) for data entry, data update and technical support.
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders from within the organization
  • Entering beneficiary data from source documents within time limits
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor time to time.
Required Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
  • A Masters degree in statistics is preferable
  • Any graduate
Must Have Skills  
  • Proficient in Excel, data entry, data management and data analysis
  • Preparing qualitative narrative reports and documents.
  • Must have basic proficiency in English and good at Hindi and Marathi.
Desirable Skills
  • The ability to manage and process high volumes of data accurately.
  • Good understanding of databases and digital and paper filing systems.
  • Proficiency in data capturing and office management software such as MS Office, Google Suite etc.
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Should be a good team player
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in support of and collaboratively with a range of people at all levels
