Following the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit, the Global Network Against Food Crisis was established. FAO and WFP, with the support of the EU, aim at operationalizing the Global Network Against Food Crisis with a view at addressing food crises in a sustainable manner expected to have a catalytic effect for what concerns the humanitarian-development-peace (HDP) nexus trough evidence-based, context specific actions and strategic partnerships at all levels.
