Context
Offering online English classes is part of our literacy project for children and youth. Our goal is to educate, empower and enrich the students with necessary skills. Online volunteers will be instrumental in teaching English classes and motivating the children to pursue their future goals. The mission of the Ann Foundation is to give the right platform and learning opportunities to children, youth, and the underprivileged to attain their highest potential in their lives.
Task description
We are looking for volunteers to conduct online English classes for Telugu-speaking children in India. Volunteers must be proficient in both Telugu and English. Classes are conducted Monday to Friday between 09:30 am - 12:00 noon Indian Standard Time. Online Volunteers are expected to teach for one hour in this time slot on two consecutive days. Please apply only if these timings are suitable for you. Orientation and access to the curriculum will be given to all the volunteers. Classes are conducted online via Google Meet or Zoom, therefore, you must have access to a good internet connection. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers. Note: Applicants without a complete profile will not be accepted. Knowledge of Telugu language is a mandatory requirement.
