Job Title and Job Description

Job Title - Site officers.

Location: Mumbai

Date of joining – on or before 28^th July 2023 subject to donor approval & award.

We are looking for the right Human potential as site officers. If you are self-motivated, passionate about your work, committed and can work with onus and minimal supervision, then you are the one we are looking for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF SITE OFFICER

Will be stationed at the DRTB centres 6 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm & will be responsible for all project related activities allocated at all the DRTB centres where the access intervention program is being implemented
Will work closely and in coordination with the chairpersons of DRTB Centres for engaging & sensitizing patients for sputum sample collection for all diagnostic tests as per protocol with due diligence, follow up for sample collection, testing and reports.
Counsel the patient for facilitating proper sputum samples collection for diagnostic testing in respective sterile sample containers in the demarcated and designated area for sample collection with due diligence
Will be responsible to ensure quality of sample collected, correct labelling, storage and packaging of samples for transportation within cut off time & storage of samples post cut off time to maintain cold chain for next day transportation.
Accountable for successful implementation of program by following established process, protocols with necessary execution and monitoring and completing all project activities at all the DRTB sites which includes a regular track of database entries and completeness of data , patient consent , counselling , sample collection, list of patients follow ups visit, quality of sample collected and relevant reports for the records .
Active communication, regular feedback, escalation of issues if any , proactive engagement with superiors and chairpersons at the sites at all times to keep them updated on the progress of the program , resolution of issues to fast rack outcomes.
Any other project related duties assigned by the management

Desired Qualifications, experience & skills

Graduates in any discipline (Science preferred)
Experience of at least 3 years of having worked in TB programs, patient sensitization, counselling and sample collection.
Good administrative skills including documentation, data entry in software, experience of working on excel sheets.
A professional attitude, effective communication, data management skills, integrity & work ethics are a prerequisite.
Maintain strong relationships with different stakeholders and partners of the project
Salary range 30000 to 35000 plus incentives & Travel expenses depending on experience expertise and previous drawn salary.

This will be a five month Consultancy service , 6 days a week , alternate Saturday's can be off with prior intimation.
