Non-Profit organization PROBENS is looking for a motivated intern who is interested in working for a social purpose.

PROBENS is located in Barcelona, Spain, with over 38 years of experience in developing and implementing specialized programmes and services for people in vulnerable situations and/or in risk of social exclusion.

Our main objective is to help intercultural communities to achieve overall well-being, especially for those with less opportunities to do so. We achieve this by providing interculturality education, immigration integration, and training and employment.

We are currently looking for an intern who wants to be directly involved in social projects addressing young people which gives them the oportunity through international travel and experiences to develop their full potential.

We are offering the opportunity to join our team located in Barcelona!!

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of group meetings with the young participants of the project TLN (presentations and interactions on topics such as interculturality, non-violent communication, etc.)

  • Contributing to European projects (research, translation, application, implementation --> also travelling abroad for developing projects with partner from different parts of the EU)

  • Creation of content for social media

  • We are an open small team who works transversally so there is always room for you to bring your own ideas!!

Requirements:

  • You are looking for an organisation with a social purpose.

  • You want to be in direct contact with young people to empower them.

  • You have a "DIY" attitude

  • Previous working experience

  • English and Spanish (German is a plus)

  • You have designed Social Media content before

Work location: Barcelona (approx. 20 hrs/week)

Start of the internship: August/ September 2023

Language requirements: English and Spanish, other languages would be an advantage (German preferred).

Unfortunately, we can not pay an expense allowance, BUT we have over 10 years of experience with the funding programs Erasmus+ and Erasmus Young Entrepreneur and are very happy to support you in applying for financial support!
