The United Nations Volunteers is the UN organization that supports sustainable human development globally through the promotion of volunteerism, including the mobilization of volunteers. It serves the causes of peace and development through enhancing opportunities for participation by all peoples. It is universal, inclusive and embraces volunteer action in all its diversity. It values free will, commitment, engagement and solidarity, which are the foundations of volunteerism.

Context

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism. To that end, UNV China is seeking to collaborate with Online Volunteer to provide support in data collection for UN Volunteers talent acquisition.

Task description

We are seeking the support of Online Volunteers to support UNV's National Talent Pool data management and digital advancement. In particular, we would like the Online Volunteer to: - Support the National Talent Pool data entry. It is required to complete about 100 candidates information per week. - Advance the database efficiency for National Talent Pool by talents group sorting and filtering. - Support the digitalization of working documents (about 30).
