The Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated individual to join its growing team. Working closely with the Managing Director, Artistic Director, and other staff, the Program Manager supports the operational and administrative work of the organization. This position will include both on-site and remote work. The Program Manager works closely with and reports to the Managing Director.

Founded in 2012 by Susan McMane, YWCP now includes six levels of choral experience for nearly 150 young women ages 4-18 from across the San Francisco Bay Area. The mission of YWCP is to transform the lives of young women through exceptional artistry in choral performance, and to bring the expressive power of their music to the community, the nation, and the world. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration & Operations

Assist with the operational management of the organization, working closely with the Managing Director and Artistic Director to ensure smooth operations;

Create and maintain all Chorus forms (e.g. registration, order forms, etc.) including response tracking and data entry;

Organize and maintain office materials/supplies;
-
Oversee uniform inventory, ordering, distribution, and return;

Assist with booking venues for rehearsals, retreat, and performances;

Help secure and manage volunteers;

Assist with front-of-house operations at concerts, including setting up ticket sales, day-of box office procedures and customer service, input ticket sales data into database;

Provide administrative and logistical support for special events, including the annual gala;

Submit payment requests and process online credit card charges;

Work with Bookkeeper and Managing Director to contact families about payment plans and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Communications & Marketing

Create email marketing materials, including newsletters and concert promotions, with guidance from the Managing Director and Artistic Director;

Create and send internal communications including Chorus memos;

Provide updates for the YWCP website, including choir calendars and chorus handbook;

Serve as point of contact for web maintenance firm;

Assist with the creation of social media posts;

Post publicity materials for concerts, events, and audition on event websites;

Assist with fundraising initiatives as directed by the Managing Director;

Regularly produce and mail donor thank you letters.
HOURS:
The Program Manager is a part-time, hourly position between 25-30 hours per week with a combination of onsite and remote work. Employee benefits include sick leave, paid vacation, and health insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

University bachelor’s degree or diploma in (arts) administration;

Experience in an arts or education-based organization ideal, otherwise experience in the nonprofit sector highly desirable;

Outstanding organizational skills;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with colleagues, children & youth, parents, volunteers, and stakeholders;

Self-motivated, with the ability to plan, manage competing priorities, track and meet deadlines, and execute a variety of tasks and responsibilities;

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs, and comfortable learning new software and technology. Proficiency in MailChimp, Adobe CS, WordPress and social media platforms is an asset.
SALARY:
$25-30/hour depending upon education and experience.
