Freelance Theatre Facilitators Job Call-out
Seenaryo is seeking expert theatre facilitators and directors to deliver its devised theatre projects with children, youth and women from under-served communities in Jordan. This call-out is not for a specific job - it is to join a pool of freelance facilitators who would be called upon to lead projects through the year.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for someone with:

3 or more years experience in theatre facilitation or directing

Experience working with under-served communities

Experience of working with children (if this is your preferred age range)

Fluent spoken Arabic

Knowledge of MS Office, Google Drive, Zoom
How to apply
To apply, please fill out this application form by Saturday, 9th of September 2023 at 6 pm (Amman time). After the closing date, we will contact the shortlisted candidates to attend a group workshop-interview in Amman, during which they will lead an exercise to the rest of the group.
After this, successful candidates will attend a mandatory 3-day training on Seenaryo’s participatory approach in theatre. This professional development is essential for candidates to get started on projects.
Day rates are determined based on Seenaryo’s project budgets and the facilitator’s experience. As this call out is not for a specific project, we cannot give details on exact fees.
About our theatre projects
Seenaryo’s theatre is always original and devised by the participants themselves: ‘meaningful participation’ is our core value. At the same time, we equally value the quality of the final product: we challenge participants to create the most professional performances they can.
Seenaryo’s theatre projects (which happen all year round) have differing structures (Studios, cycles, showbuilds, Satellites, and Theatre Leadership Training), locations and participants - but they always culminate in performance. For example, our summer Showbuild in Amman is a 5-day intensive course while our Children’s Theatre in Mafraq rehearses once a week for 12 weeks. Our Youth and Women’s Theatre might rehearse 16 times over 2 months as cycles, and over 20 times over 3 months as studios. In April this year, our Youth Theatre toured their show in two festivals in Germany.

دعوة لميسّري وميسرات مسرح مستقلين
تبحث سيناريو عن ميسّرين وميسرات مسرح ذوي خبرة لتنفيذ مشاريعها المسرحية المبتكرة للأطفال والشباب والنساء من المجتمعات التي تعاني من نقص الخدمات في الأردن. هذا الإعلان هو ليس لفرصة عمل محدّدة، إنما لضمّكم/ن إلى مجموعة الميسرين المستقلّين الذين قد نتواصل معهم/ن لقيادة المشاريع التي نقوم بها على مدار السنة.
المؤهلات والخبرات الأساسية:
نبحث عن أشخاص لديهم:

ثلاث سنوات خبرة أو أكثر في التيسير أو الإخراج المسرحي

كيفية التقدّم
يرجى على الراغبين بالتقدم تعبئة هذه الاستمارة قبل يوم السبت ٩ أيلول ٢٠٢٣ عند الساعة ٦ مساءً بتوقيت عمّان. بعد الموعد النهائي، سوف ندعو المرشحين إلى مقابلة جماعية على شكل ورشة عمل في عمّان، حيث سيقومون خلالها بقيادة تمرين مع باقي المجموعة.
ستتم دعوة المرشحين/ات المتأهلين/ات بعد المقابلة إلى تدريب إلزامي لمدة 3 أيام حول منهج سيناريو التشاركي في المسرح. هذا التدريب ضروري في تحضير المتأهلين للبدء بالعمل على المشاريع.
يتحدّد البدل المادي اليومي بناءً على ميزانية المشروع وخبرة الميسّر، ولا يمكننا تحديد المبلغ في هذا الإعلان كونه ليس لمشروع معيّن.
عن مشاريعنا المسرحية
تقدّم سيناريو دائماً أعمال مسرحية أصلية ومصممة من قبل المشاركين أنفسهم، حيث أن المشاركة الفعّالة هي القيمة الرئيسية التي نؤمن بها وتوازيها في الأهمية جودة المنتج النهائي، حيث أننا ندفع المشاركين لتصميم عروض بأقصى درجات من المهنيّة.
تتنوّع مشاريع سيناريو المسرحيّة (التي سيتم تنفيذها على مدار السنة) من حيث البنية (ستديو، دورات، شوبيلد، ستاليت، وتدريبات القيادة المسرحية) والمكان والمشاركين/ات، ولكنها تصب دوماً في العروض. على سبيل المثال: مشروع الشوبيلد هو عبارة عن دورة مكثفة مدتها ٥ أيام، بينما دورة المسرح مع الأطفال تجري من خلال تدريبات أسبوعية على مدى ١٢ أسبوع. أمّا دورة المسرح مع النساء أو الشباب تتم على ١٦ جلسة خلال شهرين، بينما الستديو يتم على أكثر من ٢٠ جلسة خلال ٣ أشهر. في شهر نيسان من هذه السنة، في بعض الأحيان، تجول تُعرض انتاجاتنا في مهرجانات خارج البلاد، فمثلاً، في شهر نيسان الماضي، قمنا بعرض إنتاج مسرح شبابي في مهرجانين في ألمانيا.
عن سيناريو
سيناريو هي منظمة رائدة متخصصة في المسرح والتعلم القائم على اللعب مع المجتمعات التي تعاني من نقص الخدمات في لبنان والأردن. نستخدم في عملنا المسرح واللعب لتطوير التعلم ودعم الأفراد لكي يتعلموا ويقودوا ويتعافوا ويزدهروا في صفوفهم الدراسية ومجتمعاتهم. لقد وصلت سيناريو من خلال عملها إلى أكثر من ١١٠,٠٠٠ طفل وشاب وامرأة ومعلم ومعلمة منذ ٢٠١٥. حازت سيناريو على جائزة الثقافة والتراث من برنامج تشاريتي أووردز السنوي وجائزة الابتكار من برنامج ذير وورد في عام ٢٠٢٣، كما اُختيرت لتكون إحدى المبدعين العالميين الـ١٢٠ في أكسبو دبي ٢٠٢٠.
في عام ٢٠٢٢، صنعت سيناريو ٣٩ عرضاً مسرحياً أصلياً. ودرّبت ٦٦٨ معلّم ومعلّمة لتطوير عملية التعلّم من خلال اللعب من خلال استخدام تطبيق سيناريو بلايكت للهاتف الخليوي حيث وصلت لـ١٥،٥٧٤ طفل من أطفال المدارس.
