Mission and objectives

Mission:The African Heritage Foundation Nigeria is a non-profit organization championing the course of African Heritage, culture, and tradition both in Africa and Diaspora and will strive to bring people of African decent and heritage of diverse nationalities together under a forum for social and cultural interaction. Objectives: For humanity and promotion of African culture across the world,2.Charity to victims of wars and natural/human disasters and the orpanagees,motherless babies homes,3.Initiate anti-corruption laws and good governance 4.Social and gender justice,5.Food securitry through -Revolutionizing African Agricultural Heritage,6,Recognizing and reward African and Africans in Diaspora with 'Knight Awards' who have contribute to the upliftment of mankind anywhere on the surface of the earth,amongst other objectives.

Context

Currently, we are organizing the Cultural Rebirth Project in Africa focus on the promotion of African cultural standard values and connecting African Youth to their treasure roots. The project centers on the motivation and building skills for independence and women empowerment strongly focusing on building a core of independence incorporating other life enriching objectives. The CRP is Powered Africa by Innovation centrist both on the continent and in Diaspora. The CRP is designed to stimulate, facilitate and accelerate economic recovery for Africa post COVID-19 epidemic challenges. The CRP features: 1. An Umbrella context of the Sustainable Fashion Industry which will include: a) Health initiatives. This area will encompass health issues faced by the nationals of the African countries due to second hand imported clothing. The CRP intervention strategies will be ruling to respiratory health issues that are a direct result of the imported goods. b) Water and Agriculture. The environment is not spared from the activities of the fashion industries and has a poisoning effect on the necessary water required for agricultural activities. Farming budgets of about 60% are used on Pesticides while only the other 40% on food production. The CRP will bring on board collaborations for restorative farming and plan-based agriculture. c) African Business Initiatives (ABI.) Textile and production are on the decrease in Africa with secondhand clothes being imported of which only about 60% can salvaged while 40% disposal is unregulated and has causal effect on health and the environment. The ABI has objectives to awaken the passion of designers who will be selected to come and exhibit their talent. The event will culminate into an African Fashion Show which redefines beauty that mirrors the African originality, with a mission to restore the excellence of true African values. 2. African Fashion and Exhibition Shows (AFES): The CRP will invigorate and promote entrepreneurship in the areas of African textile and fashion. The CRP serves to deliver a boost to economic empowerment of our multiple focus and critical emphasis on African Women and Youth. The project's theme, which is Powered Africa by Innovation centers both on the content and in Diaspora and is designed to stimulate, facilitate, and accelerate economic recovery for Africa post COVID-19 pandemic. 3. Gala Grand Awards (GGA): This is an international award that aims at recognizing and honoring excellence in Culture, Literature, History, Traditional Music, Art, Drama, Language and Language in celebration of creativity, resourcefulness, originality, and innovation. It targets Africans and Africans in diaspora who have contributed to the upliftment of mankind through timeless culture, and this will be celebrated alongside the appraising the fundamental nature of dances and other African cultural displays as a means of cultural exchange and expression amongst Africans and world at large The nominees are expected to support our humanitarian cause.

Task description

1 SPECIFIC Confirm a venue where the CRP event will hold in Kenya between the dates iof 10th and 22nd November with the objective to hold an agricultural exhibition show, exhibition of African fashion designs, Award iconic historians and invite speakers to speak on Peace and Secutity in Africa. 2 MEASURABLE Determine the project SCOPE - a) Evaluate at the beginning of the project the agreed goals, whether required resources as spelt in the budget are not exceeded, b) PLAN A SCHEDULE -Time to begin and Finishing deadline c) PROJECT QUALITY - Create tools to measure - if the team did adhere to the budge by Gettting client feedback during the project. - Customer Satisfaction - -Team Satisfaction and growth - Deliverables and in this case whether service produced as a result of a project that is intended to be delivered to a service to the target group have been met. RELEVANT Volunteers are anticipated to join collaborative calls 3 times a week. - Communicate with Ministries, Departments and Agencies and ensure the event Complies with legal, insurance, health, and safety regulations at all times. Nurture and collaborate relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts - Create10 designs which will constitute the roles for the 10 volunteers: that will be expected to plan and execute the event: a) Design visuals that will give details to transform the booked facility where the event will be held b) Decore that will align with the project theme, c) Complete the Food Menu in line with theme and budget, d) Be in charge of Photography of the event, e) Stipulate Requirements of Mounting of Performance Stage, f) Selection of Music fit for the occassion, g)Contact Speakers for the event and determine Registration fee by exhibitors h) Determine befitting Gifts & Awards to be given out , i) Manage the RSVP, j)Selection of Colour scheme, and be in charge of the Red Carpet to hold the African Fashion Show. - Proactively identify and solve operational challenges 6. Crafting and implementing the creative and logistical aspects for the whole events such as ensuring necessary permits and visas. 9. Create a vision and work with the given theme for the event TIME BASED - Complete events planning logistics of the event within 2 weeks from start if assignmebnt - Complete design concept three weeks from start of assignment - Submit trends report within 4 weeks from start of Assignment
