The work domain includes:

Right to food, nutrition and health, right to equality and dignity Tribal people’s rights over natural resources. In a short span of time since its establishment in the year 2006, Chaupal has emerged as a widely accepted organisation as is reflected by its representation on national and state level bodies. Its direct work with the community has resulted in a number of research reports. These research reports are used for advocacy, which in turn strengthens the organisation's work with the community.

Background of project:

Crèches (or Phulwaris as they are called in this programme) were opened with the following objectives:

a. To provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for young children, 6 months to 3 years of age, when their parents are out for work.

b. To demonstrate to mothers that older infants (beyond 6 months) can consume and digest food other than breast milk, and that they thrive on it.

c. To prevent malnutrition among this age group and where children are malnourished, to improve their nutritional status.

d. To help older siblings who have dropped out of school, for the care of the younger child, to return to school.

Essential Qualifications- A post graduate degree in Public Health/Nutrition/ Social Work/Social Science or any relevant discipline.

Experience– At least 1 year of experience on nutrition project with good documentation and data analytical skills. Prior experience in the field of child nutrition and creches will be preferred.

Computer Skills- The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Power point.

Languages known – Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.

Job responsibilities:

1. Data Compilation of the creche project and any other project assigned by the organization.

2. Entry of data set related to nutrition and children enrolled in creches and their periodic growth monitoring.

3. Develop the various Monitoring and Evaluation Tools along with Program Manager to assess the performance of the project.

4. Review and verification of monthly / quarterly reports and develop a compiled project report based on those.

5. Monitoring the performance indicators of the project.

6. Designing the formats and procedures for quality improvement activity.

7. Data cleaning and data analysis to prepare periodic reports.

8. Capacity building of team members on data quality and reporting formats.

9. Report and presentation preparation for project.

10. Responsible for all project related documentation.

Salary- 30,000/-per month and travel allowance 3000/- per month.
