Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT) is a not-for-profit organization of Indian Origin, promoted by HLL life care Ltd, a Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking (GoI) committed to provide innovative, affordable and sustainable health solutions since 1992. HLFPPT has been actively involved in supporting Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI, efforts by providing complete health solutions with quality which is very much stated in the vision statement of the organization “touching lives of people with quality care, compassion”. HLFPPT has vast experience in program implementation at all level by establishing liaison with Central and state government and other implementing bilateral partners and stakeholders.

About Project-

HLFPPT has effectively implementing National Tuberculosis Elimination Program of National Health Mission in various states as Patient-Provider Support Agency (PPSA) with the aim to accelerate early detection of TB cases in private health facilities. HLFPPT is acting as interface agency between NTEP & Private Healthcare systems for supporting Private Health Sector for quality and free TB Care services. Under this program HLFPPT is engaging and collaborating with private health care providers, Labs, pharmacist etc. for providing end-to-end NTEP services to manage the TB cases.

With the goal of improving coverage and quality of Tuberculosis control interventions particularly in the private sector in the States of Bihar, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, HLFPPT through the Central Tuberculosis Division (CTD), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW), Government of India (GoI) has established State Technical Support Units (STSU). HLFPPT as a State Technical Support Unit (STSU) is supporting the State TB cell of Bihar, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh in the engagement of service providers to implement Patient-Provider Support Agency (PPSA) and other Partnership options to provide various services in the TB care cascade Facilitated multi-sectoral collaboration through various partnership options and inclusion of TB related policy. To accelerate the progress towards achieving target set forth for substantial reduction in incidence of TB, HLFPPT supports states to intensify the involvement of various sectors Private and Public as well by offering quality free diagnostics, universal Drug Susceptibility Test (UDST), co-morbidity screening, newer drugs and regimen, NIKSHAY Poshan Yojana, notification from private sector at a faster pace.

The national Manager will be responsible for leading the operations in the states and at corporate office. He /she works closely with Government, field implementation Partner (s) and technical partners(s) to implement the programme, provide strategic direction and necessary technical support.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Program Management-

• He/ She will lead operational roll out of the program across the States.
• Support field implementation team/partner(s) in development of annual work-plans, project Management framework, budget, context specific strategies, aligned with the organization.
• Review the program periodically including visiting the field regularly, to access the fidelity of implementation and quality and effectiveness of the programme.
• Support Partners and Govt functionaries to ensure delivery against agreed milestone and targets. Identify gaps in delivery and take corrective measures to reduce implementation gaps.
• Share periodic program updates on financial projections, along with data analysis, case studies and presentations for Stakeholders.

Partnership Management-

• Lead dialogue with Government Departments at the National and State level.
• Liaise actively with key agencies, identify potential for convergence and strategic partnership to amplify program impact.
• Facilitate joint reviews to build a collaborative environment for all stakeholders.

Program Strategy and design-

• Provide input to technical lead and Partners on key initiatives, particularly to address context specific needs of stakeholders at the national and in the states.
• Communicate field learnings, program innovations and developments to the organizations and Stakeholders to ensure program relevance.

Other activities-

• Work with M&E and incorporate the need based corrective measure for smooth implementation of the program.
• Plan and organize events, workshops and project visit as required.
• Any other responsibilities as per programme and organizational requirement as assigned by the line manager.
• Self- starter who takes ownership and responsibilities for his/ her projects.
• Demonstrate flexibility to a changing field situation and work effectively to light deadlines.
• Demonstrate creativity in his/her work, understanding challenge of the stakeholders, listening actively and working in a participatory manner.

Candidate Profile:

Essential: Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in social sector preferably in NTEP program. Experience of working with Government Partners, preferably at the National level. Proficiencies in English and Hindi (Spoken, reading and written). Excellent communication, analysis and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS word, Excel and power point is required. Excellent inter-personnel and team skills, with leadership abilities


Desired: MBBS Graduate preferably Post-Graduate in Public Health /Health Administration / Community Health Administration or Preventive & Social Medicine and/or Hospital Management/Healthcare Management
