About: Development Support Centre

Development Support Center (DSC) is a resource organization working in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh,Maharashtra and Rajasthan that provides knowledge based support to Non-GovernmentOrganizations (NGOs), Corporate Houses (CSRs), Government Agencies, Community Based Organizations and other stakeholders in the field of Participatory Natural Resource Management (PNRM) and sustainable livelihoods. The DSC provides a variety of services through multi-disciplinaryteam of professionals that directly implement projects, help in capacity building of key functionaries, carries out field studies and takes initiatives for appropriate policy changes.

DSC directly works with more than 1.4 lakh rural households in 18 districts of MP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat through collaborative projects on PIM, Watershed, Agriculture, FPO etc. It is jointly initiating project “Miracle Millet Project” in Alirajpur MP and some parts of Punjab to improve health, resilience and livelihood in Rural India through revival of indigenous seeds, promotion of agro-ecological farming, consumer awareness, value addition and strengthening marketing of millet.
