JOB Description:
The current call is open to fill any potential vacant places at the Legal and Procurement Department.
The trainee will be expected to carry out under supervision the following duties:
- Assist the department in its daily activities, including participating in internal and/or external meetings;
- Support contract management, procurement and grants activities, such as drafting and revising tender specifications, contracts and contract amendments;
- Participate in tenders/grant proposals evaluation;
- Provide assistance on various files and on legal requests handled by the department;
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders on legal/procurement/grants/contract management questions;
- Research and analyse law sources, such as EU regulations, legislations, legal articles, treaties;
- Report on new case-law of EU courts and keep the relevant database updated;
- Support in keeping the department databases up-to-date;
- Assist in the negotiation or amendment of contractual terms and conditions;
- Provide administrative support (e.g. archiving, data entry and processing);
- Contribute to internal reporting tasks.
