The Information Technology Division (CS-IT) provides quality IT services and innovative information technology solutions to support the Bank’s operations and to fulfil the Bank’s strategic objectives in an efficient and effective manner, continuously adapting to business needs.
Within the IT Infrastructure Unit and under the supervision of the Head of IT Infrastructure, the Microsoft Systems Engineer manages the CEB's Microsoft systems and platforms that support users access and information processing, and internal and external collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:
Directly reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure, the incumbent leads the day to day management of the Microsoft infrastructure (on premise and Cloud in particular) and security functions;
He/She drive and define the organisational model, based on the Division's strategic orientations, and he/she will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate implementation security of information systems and reliability of Microsoft applications in production;
He/She manages the configuration of systems, software and database systems, including security, communication facilities, desktop environment, mobiles and systems for administrative and banking activities;
He/She guarantees the homogeneity of implementations across software and hardware of information systems in regards with the Bank’s guidelines and best practices;
He/She provides for second/third level support for Microsoft applications and security configurations;
He/She will lead and coach his/her team members and follow up closely their activities;
He/She will provide his manager with reporting about his/her team activity;
He/She will manage projects following the CEB project management methodology;
He/She provides detailed documentation of procedures, and ensures reporting of his/her activities enabling monitoring system availability and service quality;
He/She participates in the evolution of Microsoft applications implementations and monitoring;
He/She enforces information security policy, standards and guidelines for technology implementations:
Proactively identifies IT risks including in IT technical implementations;
Assists the IT security team and IT security matters such as incident response, intrusion detection management and IT Security advisories.


Academic background:
An advanced university degree in computing engineering or equivalent.
 A minimum of Microsoft certifications on AD, Windows Servers and Exchange is required.

Professional background:
The incumbent should have experience that enables him/her to master proficiency in controlling of applications and technical architectures with Microsoft (on premise and Cloud in particular) and security technologies:Good knowledge of security management, auditing methodology, technology risk assessments;
Expert of several technologies such as MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, mail security systems, Azure, Office365, authentication (MS Hello), WSUS, iOS, PKI, etc.;
Experience in IT project integration and operations;
Proficiency in Windows operating systems, VMWare, Linux, VEEAM, ServiceNow.  
Minimum of 5 to 7 years professional experience as a system engineer, preferably gained in the banking sector;
Strong team management skills;
Strong capacity to support business partners in their needs;
Strong project management skills and structured approach to development;
Team spirit and good communication and teaching capacities as well as interpersonal skills;
Ability to perform his/her tasks in accordance with internal procedures and charters governing the IT activities.

Language skills:
Excellent command of one of the two CEB official languages (English and French), both oral and written, and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
