INTRODUCTION TO GGGI

PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for providing all secretarial/ technical/ administrative support to the CoP Lead (GB&I) for the successful and efficient management of the IKI-ALCBT project with respect ALCBT in general and India as particular. The broad objectives of the position are:
- Provide necessary support to the CoP in the programme through coordination, analysis, consultation and research.
- Support CoP in all activities for management, reporting and documentation pertaining to IKI-ALCBT in India.
- Participate in internal and external meetings along with the country teams as deemed appropriate and directed by the CoP lead
ENGAGEMENT
- Significant coordination and collaboration with the CoP Lead (GB&I), India Country Representatives, India project team, consortium partners, and the CPMU in IPSD.
- Work in the assigned thematic/management areas under the IKI-ALCBT project aligning with the work plan of India under the direct supervision of the CoP lead.
- The position will also entail coordination with GGGI HQs divisions as per requirements.
- Support COP Lead to explore developing further concepts in the area in India or other countries
DELIVERY
- Coordinate with India project team and other countries to prepare and endorse the Work Plan, Project Steering Committee (PSC) and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for IKI-ALCBT.
- Support the CPMU in developing templates for record keeping, info sharing and reporting.
- Prepare monthly/ periodic reports (as per GGGI’s formats) for submission to the CoP lead.
- Coordinate and arrange periodic meetings with country PMUs as per the requirements.
- Prepare draft records of discussions/ minutes (MoMs) on behalf of the CPMU.
- Support publication of at least 1 quality article per year on the LCBT Concept.
- Present on at least 2 occasions per year on GGGI’s internal/ external forums.
- Actively coordinate with project stakeholders like consortium partners, consultants, interns, etc. as directed by the CoP lead.
