In circumstances of armed conflict or armed violence where there are one or more armed groups and de facto authorities, Geneva Call aims to protect civilians from those whose actions may directly jeopardise their safety.

Geneva Call undertakes a needs analysis for each AGDA and prioritises engagements based on the sensitivity of each conflict. We pick the AGDAs we work with based on the one we think has the most chance of improving humanitarian conditions for the defence of civilians.
