Middle East Consulting Solutions (MECS) was established in 2016 as an independent and specialist research company. Founded by Syrians for Syrians, MECS aimed to address information gaps, access obstacles and programmatic challenges confronted by aid workers navigating an increasingly complex conflict. Since 2016, MECS has delivered over 140 service contracts and missions for more than 30 reputable humanitarian and development organisations across Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Libya.
