At International Resilience and Development (IRD), we are driven by a deep sense of commitment to building resilient communities in Turkey and Afghanistan. Our journey began with a group of dedicated Afghan humanitarian sector experts who collectively have over 20 years of experience in facilitating aid programs for returnees, internally displaced people, refugees, and host communities. With the fall of the Afghan government in August 2021, we had to adapt, and our journey led us to Türkiye. There, we joined forces with like-minded Turkish experts who share our passion for creating positive change and impact.
