Founded in 2016, our name originated from organizing the “Africa 35 Under 35 Initiative” , a fellowship program that annually recognized 35 remarkable young innovators under 35 from Africa and the Afro Diaspora. This initiative has grown into a community of nearly 200 extraordinary innovators from 32 countries, including public officials, business leaders, civil society champions, influencers, and opinion-makers.
As our theory of change evolved, we transitioned into a project developer of transformational social and environmental impact-driven initiatives, with a strong focus on improving the lives of women and youth.
We are proud to have partnered with renowned technical and financial organizations, including the Institute of Food Technologists, the Million Cool Roofs Challenge, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Google.
