NATO ACT - Allied Command Transformation

NATO’s Allied Command Transformation is evolving to keep its one billion members safe in an ever-changing world. The Command is constantly seeking competent and driven individuals for a variety of job positions in order to accomplish this.

Allied Command Transformation offers a broad range of career opportunities in fields like engineering, IT, international relations, communications, innovation, finance, human resources, and administration. Both civilian and military employees constitute its staff. The Command also provides opportunities for young professionals, temporary employees, university students, recent graduates, and interpreters.

The categories of NATO International Civilian staff employed at the Command range from NATO Grade (NG) 8 to NG 22, which can be defined as follows:

  • NG 15, 17, 20 & 22 have professional/management level responsibility and are typically employed in Operations Research & Analysis, Resource Management (Human Resources Management, Finance, Infrastructure), Communications & Information Technology and International Law.
  • NG 16, 18, 19 & 21 are specialist linguistic posts, such as Translator/Reviser positions.
  • NG 8, 10, 12 & 14 are typically technicians or assistants, such as Information Technology Assistants, Financial Assistants and Administrative Assistants.
