CENSAD - Communauté des États sahélo-sahariens

La Communauté des Etats Sahélo-Sahariens (CEN-SAD) est une des huit Communautés Économiques Régionales (C.E.R) reconnues par l’Union Africaine comme piliers de l’intégration dans le Continent et du développement économique, sociale et durable de l’Afrique.

Créée le 4 février 1998 à Tripoli (Libye), la CEN-SAD regroupe 25 États africains du pourtour du Sahara et du Sahel et dispose également du statut d’observateur auprès des Nations Unies.

The Community of Sahel-Saharan States  (CEN-SAD) is one of the eight Regional Economic Communities (RECs)  recognized by the African Union  as pillars of integration in the Continent and of the economic, social and sustainable development of Africa.

Created on February 4, 1998 in Tripoli (Libya), the CEN-SAD  brings together 25 African states from around the Sahara and the Sahel  and also has observer status with the United Nations.
