Dreamer Trust

Dreamer Trust is a grassroots-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged and marginalized communities, with a special focus on vulnerable children and abandoned elderly individuals. The organization works to address critical social challenges by ensuring access to nutritious food, quality education support, and essential healthcare services.

Established in 2021 under the Indian Trusts Act in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Dreamer Trust traces its origins to 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a small-scale food distribution initiative for disadvantaged children, elderly individuals, and economically vulnerable families has since evolved into a multi-sectoral development organization. Despite limited initial resources, the Trust expanded its reach through the support of individual donors and community-driven crowdfunding efforts.

Today, Dreamer Trust implements impactful programs across key focus areas, including hunger alleviation, education, healthcare, and disaster relief. Its flagship initiatives—One Rupee Thali, Mukta Shiksha Pathshala, and Drishti Shakti—are designed to deliver sustainable, community-centered solutions that uplift lives with dignity.

Founded by social entrepreneur Mithu Chowdhury, the organization is committed to driving long-term, sustainable social impact. Dreamer Trust aligns its mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, and SDG 4: Quality Education, contributing to inclusive and equitable grassroots development.
