AL-Mehran Rural Development Organization (AMRDO) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-partisan, non-profitable social services organization. AMRDO was established in the year 1998 and registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860 and is PCP certified. AMRDO is working to empower poor rural and underserved communities through participatory development initiatives in Sindh and Baluchistan.
The philosophy behind the establishment of AMRDO was to ameliorate the deteriorating conditions of those vulnerable communities quite far from the expected standard of life. The Vision and Mission of AMRDO adhere to the commitment of championing human and ethical values through striving for the very cause of oppressed communities in the context of fundamental social rights. In its continuous struggle, AMRDO has envisioned exploring the maximum possible and dynamic areas of socio-economic development by establishing health and education facilities with the best of its efforts.
