We are a not-for-profit wildlife and biodiversity conservation and research organization that protects and safeguards tropical rainforests and the environment in Borneo.
We have been implementing rainforest conservation in Borneo for over 20 years. We partner with local stakeholders to implement landscape-level conservation strategies based on rigorous scientific research, and support communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that complement environmental protection.
We have a team of dedicated and passionate people working to help protect Borneo’s biodiversity. In the BNF family, there are over 100 experienced people working on the conservation frontline and globally with innovative ideas, creativity, and hope for a greener future in Borneo.
The BNF family work together to achieve our shared mission to maintain and enhance Borneo’s ecosystems, biodiversity, and the benefits that these provide to people.
The Yayasan Borneo Nature Indonesia and Borneo Nature Foundation International are independently managed organisations with a successful partnership and affiliation scheme, acting as sister organisations under the same vision and mission.
